A Touch of Crimson - Sylvia Day

A Touch of Crimson - Sylvia Day

About the book:
Adrian Mitchell is an angel of immense power and an insatiable desire for the one woman he can't have. The head of an elite Special Ops unit of the Seraphim, his task is to punish the Fallen - angels who have become vampires - and command a restless pack of indentured lycans.

But Adrian has suffered his own punishment for becoming involved with mortals - losing the love of his life again and again. Now, after nearly two hundred years, he has found his beloved Shadoe, her soul once more inhabiting a new body with no memory of him. This time he won't let her go.

With no memory of her past as Shadoe, Lindsay Gibson only knows she can't resist her fierce attraction to the smouldering, seductive male who crosses her path. Swept into a dangerous world of tumultuous passion and preternatural conflict, Lindsay is soon caught in the middle between an angel lover, an estranged vampire father, and a full-blown lycan revolt. There's more at stake than her love and her life - this time she could lose her very soul...

4/5

My Review:
I do really enjoy reading Sylvia's work, and this book again did not disappoint. I was captivated and enthralled by the characters in this book, always wanting to read on and finding I was feeling right along with them. Shouting and feeling right along with Lindsay as she battles and struggles to come to terms with who and what she is, she is an in depth and forceful character yet also displays her soft and feminine side when she needs it and when she is around Adrian. She is a full force character that I fell in love with and always wanted to get everything she needed and wanted. Adrian goes through a few character changes in this book, but it always the strong alpha male unless it comes to Lindsay and they he shows his true nature and feelings. His character is strong in self and yet he is also a lovable male that you really want to do well and to get everything he has wanted and desired all these years. But will he get exactly that as he expects when he finds Lindsay? The story-line keeps you reading right along with everything you need to form the pictures and scenes that flow with the book. All credit to the author for weaving such a great story and I know I will be continuing with this series and finding out what happens next.
