Derek and Maks - DeeLicious Blog Tour

First lets give a huge welcome to DeeLicious, we have the honour of hosting her here as she takes part in a week long blog tour. Please give her your best welcome and check out the first in a new series of Erotic shorts.

Here's a little about the author herself:

DeeLicious Bio:

An avid reader of paranormal and erotic romances since college, she has always dreamed of becoming an author.  Joining a role play group gave her the window to write that she’d been looking for and the final push she needed to sit down and write her first short story.

About the book:

What happens when your single, forty-something mom brings home her new boy toy and it’s the hot stud that gave you your first tattoo; the one you’ve been fantasizing about for the last few weeks since turning 18? Will Bianca finally have sex with a real man and not some clumsy high school boy? What will she do when presented with not one, but two, hot muscular men who co-own the tattoo parlor? Turn the pages to find out.

An excerpt straight from the book just to wet your appetite for this great short read

It was Friday night and it was official; her life as she knew it was over.  Caput!  Fini!  Bianca Lucas sighed as she fidgeted in her seat at the dining room table.  Her mother Jane, or Jade as she’d officially changed it to, stood there introducing her new boy toy, Derek. Derek was the tattooed 30-something dream god who’d inked her first tattoo, a sunburst on her left ankle, a little over six weeks ago when she turned 18.  She’d been fantasizing about the hot hunk, ever since.  Bianca tried to sit there keeping her composure, but from her seated position if she turned her head to look at Derek, she’d be eye level with the serious bulge at his groin since he was still standing behind the chair next to hers and had not yet taken his seat.  How could she possibly maintain her demeanor if she was forced to look at that mouthwatering package?  Would her mother just get on with the introductions and tell the walking sex god to sit...PLEASE!

For those that haven't seen it yet here is my review of this short story:

4.5/5

My review:
Having received this book for review, and finding after reading the blurb that it had peaked my interest I can say that it is exactly what it says it is. An erotic novella full of action yet manages not to lose the depth of character development and story-line that comes with any good read. A short yet all consuming book that you will not want to put down until you have finished it, leaving nothing out yet giving you everything you need for your imagination to take hold and form the pictures of everything that is happening. This book will leave you panting and wanting more. The characters are well developed and each have their own personalities that follow along throughout the book, the story-line gives the reader a look into a whole other world that the author has managed to create and build, with well defined picture painting. I can recommend this novella to lovers of the erotic fiction genre, and those wanting a quick lunchtime read (Maybe not while you are at work). Go and give this author a try I don't think you will be disappointed and will be wanting to go back for more of this series.

Finally those all important where you can get you hands on a copy of the book and where you can go and stalk it's author

The Defiler's Throne - Isobel Lucas

The Defiler's Throne - Isobel Lucas

About the book:
This is the third in the series following Mary and Ian

4/5

My Review:
All I can say about this series is that they continue to get better as you go through them. The twists and turns in this book leave you with your mouth hanging open. The author has done a great job of keeping the readers hanging onto her every word, waiting to see what is going to happen next. You can't get the next instalment fast enough and the growing and developing of both Mary and Ian throughout these books is done in such a way you can only fall in love with them and their relationship more and more as you continue to read. Really if you have not checked these out you need to go and get copies they are well worth the read.

Signs and Portents - Isobel Lucas

Sighs and Portents - Isobel Lucas

About the book:
This is the 2nd book in this short story series......

4/5

My Review:
Being the second book, I must admit I am now completely hooked on this series Mary only grows and grows within herself throughout this short and with her connection to Ian everything flows so well and has you waiting with baited breath to turn the page and find out what is next for this un usual couple. Everything says that they should not be together and not work, yet it all seems so right and real for them to be living as they do. Mary learns more about who she is and where she came from in this book, but it only leads the way to more and better things that I believe will be coming in the rest of the series. I can't wait to pick up and read the next book and I know anyone who starts this series will be hanging in there waiting to find out how everything is going to pan out for this unlikely pair, and what of the rest of the world?

On Raven's Wings - Isobel Lucas

On Raven's Wings - Isobel Lucas

About the book:
Mary Joseph's family is going through a financial crisis and now she's forced to finish out senior year at the local public school. In an effort to erase her Catholic school girl image, she joins a rock band, gets a makeover from her best friend, and changes her name to Raven.

Ian, the hottest guy in school, notices her and she's plunged into a world she never expected to enter. His kisses are as steamy as his body, but Raven doesn't know if he's telling her the truth about his bizarre family or if he's just saying anything to convince her to go all the way.

When disaster hits Raven's family, she has to make a decision: ignore Ian's wild claims or take a leap of faith.

4/5

My Review:
This is part one in a five part series of novella's and I have to admit it has me hooked. From the word go you fall in love with Mary who is not everything she appears to be and with her background and upbringing at first glance she really is the quiet and shy type, but then a change in schools means that everything changes for her and she becomes who she really is. Ian is a lovable rogue or so it seems with a reputation that proceeds him, but is this reputation true or is it all smoke and mirrors? I must admit I find him captivating and really want to get to know what he is really all about. The story-line is free flowing and easy to read, leaving you not wanting to put the book down until you have finished it. I can't wait to see where the next parts are going to take this couple and what they are going to have to face. This is more of an older YA read so be prepared for that, but it's a must read if you are looking for a quick and easy book that has a great story and background.

4/5

My Review:
I do really enjoy reading Sylvia's work, and this book again did not disappoint. I was captivated and enthralled by the characters in this book, always wanting to read on and finding I was feeling right along with them. Shouting and feeling right along with Lindsay as she battles and struggles to come to terms with who and what she is, she is an in depth and forceful character yet also displays her soft and feminine side when she needs it and when she is around Adrian. She is a full force character that I fell in love with and always wanted to get everything she needed and wanted. Adrian goes through a few character changes in this book, but it always the strong alpha male unless it comes to Lindsay and they he shows his true nature and feelings. His character is strong in self and yet he is also a lovable male that you really want to do well and to get everything he has wanted and desired all these years. But will he get exactly that as he expects when he finds Lindsay? The story-line keeps you reading right along with everything you need to form the pictures and scenes that flow with the book. All credit to the author for weaving such a great story and I know I will be continuing with this series and finding out what happens next.
